Botswana-Maun Safari Package
The town of Maun is the third largest in Botswana. Maun is the tourism capital of Botswana and the administrative centre of Ngamiland. It is also the headquarters of numerous safari and air-charter operations. Maun has been the starting point of expeditions into Botswana's wildlife areas since the turn of the century and the gateway to the Okavango Delta. It's a little town, dotted with modern shops and offices, while its suburbs are a mix of a few traditionally built, thatched rondavels and an increasing number of more modern, tin-roofed brick houses. Look carefully amongst the older ones these and you'll find quite a lot which incorporate old tin cans from drinks into their mud walls.
Activities
Meet & Greet at Maun International Airport.
We will pick you up at the airport and transfer to the Lodge. Proceed to check in and we will do a cultural tour so that you can land in the country and understand what life is like in Botswana and how the country works, the customs, a little of its history, get to know the kgotla and learn many more interesting facts. We will have dinner while we discuss the route we are going to do in the next few days and will return to the Lodge to rest.

08:00h - Mobile Safari
The real adventure begins. We're going on a mobile safari! The most authentic safari. We will spend 2 nights sleeping in a mobile camp, which our team sets up for us. We will do a 4x4 safari in the morning and afternoon in the area where the camp is set up. We will enjoy each night by the light of the fire, commenting on what we experienced and learning from the stories and anecdotes of our guides. In the camp you will always be accompanied by our staff and guides. Each tent has its own ensuite bathroom with a built-in shower and our chef will be in charge of preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you have any type of intolerance or allergy, the menus would be adapted.

After breakfast, we will start our safari in Moremi Game Reserve driving back to Maun. We will enjoy a coffee or tea break to stretch the legs and later on a picnic lunch on the way back to Maun.
